When James V.

Brown University in Williamsport, Pa., opened its new library in 1907, it was meant to be "the place to go to learn, connect, and grow," according to its website.

Today, it's "the place to go to learn, connect, and grow."

The James V.

Brown Library has more than 225,000 visitors a year and circulates a half-million items, the Williamsport Sun-Times reports.
